Inspired by recollections of warm, unhurried days beside the rocky coastline of Crete this textured work is built with layers of acrylic paint and plaster, the work moves between landscape and abstraction. A broad coral-pink field opens above a dense, uneven terrain of violet, ochre, turquoise and muted green.
